Gone are the days when we used to wait for a song after tuning Al India Radio and get thrilled when our name gets announced after reading the posted letter to the Radio station. Recently all Radio sets are disappeared from the place it occupied earlier. All such sweet memories are erased by TV. It made us to sit and watch in-front of it by disturbing our daily routines All our work gets stalled when TV is ON unlike the Radio. Many utensils burnt in the Kitchen.. and we lost the timesence .. We could not even talk to friends or guests who come-in to our house.. instead TV talks, cant even call Mom when Indian Idol is going on in Sony..
Yesterday, My old deck set having a FM tuner occupied its old place. We can tune to Radio Mirchi in Udupi with Frequency 98.3!! Wordings such as "Sakhath Hot Maga" thrilled the both of the ears.. 24/7 programs excited all young hearts!! No surprise if we hear it in Rikshaw, Buses and all such vehicles. Radio era hits back!!!!
